In compliance with Ministerial Decree 09/03/2020 the Bioparco will remain closed until further notice. 

We inform our visitors that all tickets and season passes with expiry dates falling during the period of closure of the park, will be extended for the same days for which the park has been closed.

The types of tickets that can be purchased are:

  • OPEN ticket usable on any weekday or holiday of your choice.
  • PRESET DATE ticket valid only for the selected date.
  • Warning: All the tickets are not refundable.
  • Do you want to extend the validity of your fixed date ticket?
    If you bought a fixed date ticket online and you realize you cannot come to Bioparco because of the bad weather or any other reason, click here to “UPGRADE” your ticket and extend its validity up to 6 months!

 We remind you that children under 1 mt. are entitled to free admission.

 Discounted tickets for various agreements with associations, public and private organizations can be purchased ONLY and exclusively at the ticket office.

After the purchase you will receive the tickets by email. The day of the visit you will not have to go to the ticket office, you can directly go to the Bioparco's main entrance with the printed tickets or the tickets on your smartphone.

Opening time 2020

The opening times 2020 of the Bioparco are the following:

  • 1 Jan – 27 Mar       9.30 am – 5.00 pm
  • 28 Mar – 25 Oct     9.30 am – 6.00 pm
  • 26 Oct – 31 Dec     9.30 am – 5.00 pm (25 dec closed)

Extended opening hours:

  • 28 Mar – 27 Sept      9.30 am – 7.00 pm
  • Saturdays, Sundays and holidays

 ​Last entrance 60 minutes before closing time.

Closing areas

Due to the zoo animals’ needs, these exhibits will be closed at the following times:

  • FELINES (lions, lynxes, leopards, tigers)
    60 minutes before closing time
    45 minutes before closing time
    30 minutes before closing time
    60 minutes before closing time

Park regulations

The concept of zoos in the last few years has changed considerably, transforming the visit into an opportunity to learn, understand and consequently respect the environment that surrounds us.

During the visit it is forbidden:

  • feed the animals, as they have a balanced diet to follow;
  • pass the fences as this could be a danger to you and the animals themselves;
  • cause disturbance with screams, noises, loud noises;
  • enter with balloons, balloons, skateboards, bicycles, scooters, roller skates and shoes containing wheels;
  • access the park with dogs or other animals, with the exception of guide dogs;
  • knock on glass and fences;
  • throw objects at the animals;
  • to light fires;
  • get on board the train with strollers (unattended parking availability)
  • enter the Reptilario with strollers (unattended parking availability)

In the Park you can smoke freely. Remember to use the cute bear-ashtrays for cigarette butts.

 The park has no luggage storage (suitcases, food, scooters and other personal effects).

Disabled people

Within the Bioparco, all areas can be reached by non-ambulatory disabled people except for the staircase that leads from the japanese macaques to the wild dogs.

Picnic areas

The Park has two comfortable picnic areas, one in the Oasis’s Lake and the other near the Bar Grande Voliera.
